Ethics. Morals. Values.
There is great confusion today as to the meaning of these terms. Everyone agrees that we need them.
But no one seems too sure what they are, how to define them, or on what basis they should be established.
Every organization has a code of ethics. Usually this is kept on a shelf with the mission statement,
to be taken out and dusted off only if an auditor appears or an investigation is imminent.
Is this really the best we can do?
Ethical Futures is dedicated to the proposition that until ethics is brought back to the forefront of our individual dealings with one another, the world will continue to fall into chaos. Headlines will continue to shout the scandals of CEOs and politicians, and trust will continue to wither away.
We believe that change is possible.
We believe that ethical decision making is not a lost art, that ‘business ethics’ doesn’t need to be an oxymoron, that we can do better, for ourselves and for our world.
Our mission is to heighten awareness of the importance – the urgency – of sound ethical decision-making.
Towards this end, we have designed processes and tools to help organizations develop clear, workable, collaborative ethical visions.
Organizations can’t change unless the people in them do. So we work with individuals, helping them to understand why and how they make decisions (through our patented assessment tools) and to improve their decision-making skills (through our training and consulting services). Implementation of strong values
affects your organization’s internal morale and external image, tfostering healthy and sustainable growth and success.
We invite you to explore our products and services on these pages,
and to join us in making wiser choices for a better world.
"At this time of great ideological conflicts and violent clashes of interests, technological and economic developments have, as never before, brought us together as members of one human family, unified beyond race or creed on a shrinking globe, in face of dangers of our own making. In such a situation many ethical problems take on a new significance and our need to give sense to our lives exceeds the inherited standards."
